1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lumnetic, governing your access to and use of all Lumnetic applications, websites, and related services.
By accessing or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
2. Who We Are
Lumnetic is an independent software developer. We build and publish mobile apps and digital tools for iOS and Android under the Lumnetic brand.

3. The Service
The Service currently includes:
- Rent Wise — a mobile app for iOS and Android that allows users to model financial scenarios using Monte Carlo simulations, calculate a personal Stress Index and Freedom Index, and view predictive insights.
- The lumnetic.app website, including all pages and content hosted thereon.
- Any additional apps, tools, or features we may release in the future under the Lumnetic brand, unless separate terms are published for them.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in jurisdictions where a higher minimum age applies) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
5. Licence to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Lumnetic grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:
- Download and install the app on devices you own or control
- Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes
- Access and browse the lumnetic.app website
This licence does not include any right to sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Lumnetic.
6. Permitted and Prohibited Use
6.1 You may
- Use the Service for your personal financial modelling and planning purposes
- Share screenshots or outputs for personal, educational, or non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution
- Contact us with feedback, feature requests, or bug reports
6.2 You may not
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of any Lumnetic app
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically access the website using automated means without prior written consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems
- Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or branding in the app or on the website
- Use the Service to develop a competing product or service
- Distribute, licence, sell, or rent access to the Service to third parties
7. No Financial Advice — Important Disclaimer
The outputs generated by Rent Wise — including the Stress Index, Freedom Index, Monte Carlo scenario results, and any predictive insights — are based solely on the data you input and on statistical models. They are provided for informational and illustrative purposes only.
- Results do not constitute financial advice or recommendations of any kind.
- Past performance and simulated scenarios are not indicative of future results.
- The models used involve inherent uncertainty; actual outcomes may differ materially.
- We are not a licensed financial adviser, broker, or institution in any jurisdiction.
You should always consult a qualified financial professional before making any financial decision. Your use of the Service and any reliance on its outputs is entirely at your own risk.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and all content within it — including app design, user interface, source code, algorithms, text, graphics, logos, icons, and the Stress Index and Freedom Index concepts — are owned by Lumnetic and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The Lumnetic name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Lumnetic. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership of or rights in any intellectual property belonging to Lumnetic.
9. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds
9.1 In-app purchases and subscriptions
Certain features may be available only through a one-time purchase or recurring subscription. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their own terms and conditions.
9.2 Pricing
Prices are as displayed in the Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; changes will not affect active subscription periods already paid for.
9.3 Renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
9.4 Refunds
Refunds are handled exclusively by the Store through which you made the purchase. Lumnetic does not process refunds directly. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.
10. Service Availability and Updates
We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may:
- Temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons
- Modify, add, or remove features at any time without prior notice
- Discontinue the Service or any part of it with reasonable notice where possible
We recommend keeping the app updated to ensure you benefit from bug fixes and new features.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, including:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any results generated by the Service
- Warranties that defects will be corrected
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumnetic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
- Financial losses arising from reliance on simulation outputs
- Cost of substitute products or services
- Any other intangible losses
In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or 50 euros, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumnetic from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights
- Any financial decision you make based on outputs from the Service
14. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. These are provided for convenience only. Lumnetic assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site.
Your use of the App Store or Google Play is subject to Apple and Google respective terms of service.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory protective provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days of written notice shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, except where mandatory law requires a different jurisdiction.

16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days notice via the app, the website, or email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel any active subscription before the effective date.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. If you have a subscription, cancel it through the Store before your next billing date.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice or liability, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
Upon termination, all licences granted to you will immediately cease. Sections 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 15 shall survive termination.
